Series 86/87 examination

Series 86/87 Research Analyst

Designed for the Research Analyst who will be responsible for the
preparation of the substance of a research report and whose name appears on
the report.

Candidates who wish to take the Series 86/87 must have a Series 7 as a
prerequisite prior to taking this exam. Part I is a four hour exam and
consists of 100 multiple-choice questions covering fundamental security
analysis. Part II is a one and a half hour 50 question multiple-choice
examination covering SRO and SEC rules and regulations.
